You might have found a decent farmer's market, and maybe you do yoga in your living room, but could a healthy lifestyle be more accessible if you lived in a different state? If you're wondering how your state stacks up against others when it comes to wellness, wonder no further: The latest results from the annual Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index are in. To come up with the rankings, Gallup pollsters conducted more than 2.3 million surveys throughout 2015, interviewing roughly 177,000 people about their well-being.

The newest Well-Being Index report reveals that, as a country, our overall scores didn't change much in 2015 (on a scale of 0 to 100, we scored a 61.7 collectively) compared to 2014 (when we scored 61.6). But they did pinpoint a few positive trends in certain areas: Americans are in a better place financially, fewer people are uninsured, and smoking rates are at their lowest since the first Well-Being Index in 2008.

As always, the researchers focused on five major areas of well-being: social, financial, community, physical, and "purpose." That last one may seem out of left field, but it underscores how comprehensive the index is; a sense of purpose is an often overlooked component of health and well-being. In fact, a 2014 study from the The Lancet (also relying in part on Gallup polling data) found that people who feel their lives have meaning tend to live longer than those with a lower sense of well-being.

Ahead, you'll find the top 10 healthiest states, followed by the bottom 10. Check it out to see if your state earned bragging rights — or could use some improvement. You can also find the full report here.

10. California
The land of Redwoods and Hollywood rose two spots in this year's rankings, breaking the top 10 with an overall well-being score of 62.7. Notably, Californians also came in 10th for having a sense of purpose, and took third for physical well-being.

9. Arizona
Earning the title of most improved state in this year's rankings, Arizona jumped a whopping 11 spots to come in at number nine this year.

8. Utah
Utah hung onto the number eight spot this year with a score of 63.1. Known as home to many large Mormon families, it's not surprising Utah came in third in terms of social well-being, which is a measure of how many loving, supportive relationships people feel they have.

7. Minnesota
Minnesota came in at number seven with an overall well-being score of 63.3,don'tcha know.

6. South Dakota
South Dakota's well-being actually suffered a bit in 2015, compared to 2014, as the state fell three spots to come in at number six. Partly to blame — the sparsely populated state was in the bottom 10 (number 43) in terms of social well-being.

5. Wyoming
Wyoming, home to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton, actually tied with South Dakota, with an overall score of 63.5.

4. Colorado
Possibly the most chill state in the union, Colorado rose two spots to snag number four.

3. Montana
The "Big Sky Country" state came in at number one in terms of community well-being, which is a measure of how much residents like where they live. Likely, the state's lower rank (number 37) for social well-being, bumped them down to third place overall.

2. Alaska
Alaska was unable to hold onto the top spot overall this year, but Alaskans can still claim they reign supreme in terms of financial well-being. Specifically, this means they're least likely to be stressed over money. Alaska was also the only state on the list to rank in the top 10 for all four categories.

1. Hawaii
Surprised? Probably not. The people who call the beautiful archipelago home are the healthiest physically, and also ranked in the top five for community, financial, and purpose categories. Hawaii's overall score: 64.8. (Yep, that's as healthy as it gets!)

Now keep reading for the bottom 10.

41. Georgia
Falling behind by 10 spots this year is Georgia, with an overall well-being score of 61.2. The southern state ranked second to last in terms of financial well-being, suggesting that Georgia's residents likely worry about their bank accounts.

42. Louisiana
Most famous for its epic Mardi Gras celebrations, Louisiana is also known for gluttony. And now, ranked number 42 for well-being, and number 39 for physical well-being, doesn't help. Louisiana did, however, rank relatively high in terms of purpose, coming in at number 12.

43. Mississippi
Looks like the birthplace of blues really does have a lot to sing about. Mississippi ranked dead last in terms of financial well-being, on top of coming in at 43 overall. The one bright spot, this is actually an improvement over last year, when the state came in at number 44.

44. Arkansas
Mississippi's neighbor ranked just below it, with a tied overall well-being score of 60.9. Arkansans seem to really be struggling with relationships, coming in at 49 in terms of social well-being.

45. Missouri
Next up is Missouri. (Or is it Missou-rah? We'll never be sure.) The Midwestern state was scored abysmally across the board, with its highest rank as 34th for financial well-being.

46. Indiana
Home to "The Racing Capital of the World," the great state of Indiana also improved some this year, rising two spots to number 46.

47. Ohio
Tying with Indiana's overall score of 60.5, Ohio held on to number 47 this year.

48. Oklahoma
Oklahoma took a nosedive in terms of well-being in 2015, as the state fell nine spots in the rankings to number 48.

49. Kentucky
Just like last year, Kentucky is second to last. The state also ranked 49th in terms of physical health, just barely escaping the title of least healthy state, which ultimately went to...

50. West Virginia
With an overall score of 58.5, West Virginia is the only state on the list to receive a score below 60. The state ranked dead last in terms of residents feeling they have a sense of purpose, plenty of healthy relationships, pride in their community, and good physical health.
