It hasn't gone unnoticed that Kerry Washington was MIA at both the Golden Globes and last night's SAG Awards. In the case of the latter, she had a very excellent excuse. It's her birthday weekend and she had fairy-tale castles to visit.

The Scandal star, who turned 39 today, paid a visit to Disneyland for her special day. She shared the below photo with her Instagram followers.

It's nice to know that there are people out there who'd rather chill with Mickey and Minnie than Leo and Idris. It beats spending a birthday in couture...maybe?

Don't hold your breath for a Washington appearance at the Oscars. She's got teacups to ride.
